Colorfil™ filters change color. This intuitive, vibrant color change lets you know exactly when your filter is removing toxic chemicals and smelly odors, and when it’s expired, so you’ll never replace a filter too early — or too late — again.

Colorfil™ — making the air you breathe | better.

With Colorfil™, you can experience clean air and peace of mind wherever life takes you, be it at home, your office or even outer space!

residential

commercial
Don’t spend all your time at home? No worries! Colorfil can keep you covered in medical buildings, animal hospitals, commercial facilities, rental properties, offices and pet stores.

industrial / automotive
Colorfil isn’t just pretty, it can save lives. We’re working with NASA to build filters for spacesuits and spacecraft. Other industrial applications include semiconductor, cleanroom, automotive, data center, fuel cell, aircraft and military.
our vision We understand that for most of us, filters are confusing, boring, mysterious products we interact with only when we are forced to do so. We have made it our mission to change that with our engaging Colorfil™ filters that let you know when they’re working and when they aren’t.

We are committed to transparency, to be completely honest about what our filters do and how they do it, and to put our every effort into creating products and experiences you trust and enjoy that provide you with peace of mind.

our story Serionix originated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011 through coordinated efforts by Professor James Economy, James Langer and Weihua Zheng. Through years of extensive research and development, our team has developed an award-winning filtration technology that has received support from the Army, the National Science Foundation, and NASA (it may even be used in space suits!) in excess of $3M.

“I found the smell embarrassing if we had company in that room. The filter was amazing! I was amazed at what a difference the air purifier and Serionix filter made!”

“My daughter recently got two rats. A few days after she got them her room had a mild musty smell. We cleaned the cage multiple times but could not get the musty smell to go. We assumed it was just ‘rat’ smell and would be there for good. Then we installed the Serionix filter and within one hour the smell was gone and it stays gone (even when she forgets to clean the cage). I am a complete convert — these filters are AWESOME!”

ALLERGIES

“What the filter has done so far, I can’t put a price on that. It’s priceless how it has given my son relief from his allergies.”
